Privacy policy

Maureen Digital is a brand of DETE TECNOLOGIA S.R.L., a Costa Rican company (cedula juridica registered with the Registro Nacional de Costa Rica). For data-protection purposes we are the responsible party (responsable del tratamiento) under Law 8968 (Ley de Proteccion de la Persona Frente al Tratamiento de sus Datos Personales) and supervised by PRODHAB.

We only collect data you give us, plus standard analytics events.

• Identifiers you submit through our forms: full name, email, company name, message text
• First-touch attribution: UTM parameters, referrer URL, landing page, click IDs (gclid, fbclid, li_fat_id, msclkid, twclid)
• Booking details when you book a discovery call: preferred time, priorities, current stack notes
• Standard server logs: IP address (truncated after 7 days), user agent, request path
• Anonymized analytics from Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics

We use the data you submit to:

• Reply to your inquiry
• Schedule and confirm discovery calls
• Build and run the marketing systems we contract with you
• Send the email newsletter you subscribed to (with an unsubscribe link in every issue)
• Track marketing campaign performance in aggregate

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Ever.

Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by reputable providers:

• HubSpot (CRM)
• Resend (transactional email)
• Google Workspace (calendar, email, documents)
• Vercel (web hosting and edge logs)
• Meta WhatsApp Cloud API (notifications, optional)

Most of these vendors store data in the United States or the European Union. By submitting our forms you consent to that international transfer. We use the same processors for our DBUGGER Studio brand under the same legal entity.

Under Costa Rican law (Ley 8968) and EU GDPR, you can:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct or update inaccurate data
• Delete data we no longer need to keep
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
• File a complaint with PRODHAB if you believe we've mishandled your data

To exercise any of these, email hello@maureen.digital. We respond within 10 business days.

We use a first-party cookie called "db_attr" to remember the marketing source that brought you to the site (UTMs, click IDs, referrer). It expires after 30 days. We also load Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel for aggregate analytics. See the cookies page for the full list and how to opt out.

We update this page when our processors or practices change. The "last updated" date at the top tracks the most recent change.
